About Grantley McLeod

How we respond helps define the path.

I have spent more than 20 years coaching and training people, more than 15 years in pastoral work, and enough of my own life in hard seasons to know that clarity rarely arrives by accident.

My story

Cancer changed the way I understood response.

I am a cancer survivor. That experience became a turning point — not because hard things suddenly became simple, but because it forced me to pay attention to what happens between what life brings and how we choose to answer it.

I firmly believe that how we respond defines our path. Over years of pastoral work, I sat with people in moments of joy, grief, uncertainty, conflict, and change. I learned that people often do not need someone to fix them. They need a safe place to think, tell the truth, recognize what is already in them, and decide what comes next.

That is where my coaching begins. I listen closely. I ask questions that slow the moment down. I help you process the thinking underneath your reactions so that your next step is not just emotional or automatic, but intentional.

Faith is part of my story and part of how I understand resilience. I have seen faith inspire hope, endurance, and a deeper sense of purpose. I also believe every person deserves to be met with dignity and respect. You do not have to share my faith to work with me.

The McLeod Method

Awareness → Aspiration → Attitude → Action

A simple framework for turning insight into a life you can actually practice.

01 · Awareness

See what is shaping the present.

We begin with what is true now — the patterns, assumptions, pressures, habits, relationships, and strengths influencing your choices. Awareness is not self-criticism; it is the starting point for a more honest response.

02 · Aspiration

Name what you are becoming.

Goals matter more when they are connected to values. Aspiration gives language to the direction you want your life, leadership, or relationships to take — and why that direction is worth the effort.

03 · Attitude

Choose the posture you will carry.

We examine the thinking beneath your response. That includes the beliefs that build resilience and the ones that quietly keep you stuck. A different posture often opens a different possibility.

04 · Action

Make the insight livable.

The work becomes practical: decisions, habits, conversations, boundaries, and next steps. Action is where clarity earns its place in your real life.

What I believe

You already carry more than you may realize.

I believe people are created with purpose and possess strengths, insight, and capacity that can get buried beneath pressure, fear, habit, or disappointment.

I believe the mind is something we steward. The way we process what happens to us affects the way we lead, love, work, and move through change.

And I believe growth should lead somewhere. My role is to walk beside you long enough for awareness to become aspiration, attitude to become resilience, and clarity to become action.
